Multiple Educator Positions in Ascutney & Brattleboro, VT

Seeking energetic, passionate, professional and motivated educators to join our Ascutney team. Job responsibilities will depend on the position but can include working with a lead, assistant or co-teacher to create and prepare a curriculum following the VT Early Learning Standards, supervising, educating, and playing with children. Our center enrolls children from 6 weeks of age- 6 years of age.

Education requirements depend on the position-

Trainee- Candidate must possess a GED/HS Diploma and agree to achieve one college course Early Childhood education or take fundamentals within 1 year.

Assistant- Candidate must have at least one college course in Early Childhood education or completion of the Fundamentals course.

Lead Educator- A minimum of 12 college credits in Early Childhood education or a related field and willingness to continue college credits up to a minimum of 21 credits.

Preference will be given to the candidate with a teaching license and/or degree in the early childhood field and/or experience within the field.

 

Monday-Friday - 8 hour shifts, between the hours of 7 am and 5 pm.
 

Toddler Educator in Springfield, VT

Seeking an energetic, passionate, professional and motivated educator to join our Springfield team. Job responsibilities can include working a co-teacher to create and prepare a curriculum following the VT Early Learning Standards, supervising, educating, and playing with children. The toddler room typically enrolls children from 1.5-3 years of age.

Preference will be given to the candidate with college credits/a degree in Early Chilldhood Education or a related field.

Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Schedule:

  • 8.5 hour shift with a 30 minute break

  • Day shift

  • Monday to Friday

SLP Minimum Requirements:

  • CPR Certification (must obtain with 3 months of employment)

  • Pass a background check and clear fingerprints

  • Posses personable and care skills

  • High School Diploma (completed)

  • Early Childhood College Transcript (Preferred)

Compensation: $17-24 an hour dependent on education.
